The FlavourWhip 640g is our own-brand steel cream charger cylinder containing 640 grams of 99.9% pure food-grade E942 nitrous oxide. A single cylinder replaces approximately 80 standard 8g cartridges, dramatically reducing per-serving costs and packaging waste in any professional kitchen. Built from recyclable steel, the cylinder operates at approximately 50 bar pressure and weighs around 1.8 kg when full. It ships with a protective cap, factory seal, and a free pressure release nozzle. The standard cream charger valve thread ensures compatibility with all widely available pressure regulators, including the CDL Precision Regulator sold in our accessories range. To use the FlavourWhip 640g, you will need a pressure regulator (sold separately) and a cream dispenser or siphon. Attach the regulator to the cylinder valve, connect the dispenser, and open the valve slowly until the gauge reads the desired pressure — typically 6–8 bar for whipped cream. The regulator gives you precise control over gas flow, which is not possible with single-use 8g cartridges and makes it easier to achieve consistent results across batches. This cylinder is a strong choice for restaurants, hotels, and catering operations that go through cream chargers regularly. If your kitchen uses more than a box of 8g cartridges per week, switching to the 640g format will lower your cost per gram of N2O significantly while eliminating the inconvenience of swapping cartridges mid-service. Each cylinder is non-refillable and single-use — once empty, depressurise fully, remove the regulator, and recycle the steel body through your local metal recycling stream.
