The Smartwhip aluminium cream dispenser is a professional-grade siphon built for daily commercial use. Constructed entirely from aluminium, it is lightweight enough for extended one-handed operation yet durable enough to withstand the rigours of a busy kitchen. It ships with two interchangeable nozzle tips — a straight nozzle for precise lines and dots, and a star nozzle for decorative rosettes and borders. This dispenser works with all standard 8g N2O cream chargers, including the Smartwhip and Mosa cartridges in our range. Load a cartridge into the holder at the base of the siphon head, screw it in to pierce the seal, shake three to four times, and dispense. The mechanism is straightforward and requires no tools or calibration. For best results with whipped cream, use chilled heavy cream (30–36% fat content) and fill the dispenser no more than two-thirds full to leave space for gas expansion. After charging and shaking, keep the dispenser refrigerated between uses — a charged dispenser will hold in the fridge for up to 48 hours without significant loss of texture. Beyond whipped cream, a cream siphon is an essential tool for modern culinary technique. Use it to prepare espumas (light foams from vegetable purées, fruit juices, or broths), cold cocktail foams, rapid infusions (infuse spirits or oils with herbs, spices, or fruit in under two minutes), and aerated mousses. The two nozzle options give you control over the texture and presentation of each application. The aluminium body is easy to disassemble for thorough cleaning — the head, gasket, and nozzles all separate fully. Run warm soapy water through each component after use and allow to air dry. Avoid dishwashers, which can damage the gasket seal over time. This dispenser is included free in the Smartwhip Starter Pack alongside 100 cream chargers. If you already own a dispenser and only need cartridges, see our 8g charger range. For use with large-format cylinders (640g, 666g, 2000g), you will need a pressure regulator instead — the dispenser connects to the regulator’s output hose.
